Pre-School Day #1

Cassidy started pre-school, part-time, 2 days a week. Thursday was her first day, drop off was awful, she cried and said she just wanted to go home. (she was fine until I said it was time for me to go)The teacher encouraged me to just leave... and so I did; the next 2.5 hours were some of the longest.When we walked in it was like sensory overload, camera flashes going off, half the kids crying/half not, moms & dads, teachers trying to welcome kids and put nametags on....Pick up was GREAT!! Cass was happy and the teacher said she cried for all of 5 seconds. Cassidy made a handprint picture and it had a little story on it about a mommy that leaves her baby racoon at preschool for the first time; I was then the emotional one, out of no where I started bawling. I think I was just so happy to see her and know that she had a good time. She seemed most excited about the "little potties" and scooters on the playground. We'll see what next week brings.....
